Tour Information

Country Kennels gladly welcomes clients and their pets to tour in person.

How long does the tour take?

Tours only take between 5 minutes to 20 minutes depending on how many questions you may have or how much pets needs are discussed.

What if I can’t tour in person?

If in person touring is not preferable to you, please visit our social media to see numerous photos allowing for a great look into our facility. Instagram highlights have a special tour section with saved information and images/videos.

What is the purpose of touring?

The in person visit allows for your pet to experience the environment with you and Country Kennels staff present to establish a familiarity of staff & pet, as well as pet & environment. The pet then knows this is a safe place to be with you and & staff. Leaving and coming back again for their stay increases comfort for your pet, decreasing any anxiety or unsureness for the pet. Once you see and smell the difference, you won’t want to board your pet anywhere else. No closed doors and off limit areas, Country Kennels welcomes pet owners to see exactly how clean the facility is, and where exactly your pet will stay and play. Come see and smell the difference!

Schedule a tour

Tours are not available on weekends or in late evenings.

Why are tours at scheduled times?

Scheduling tours allows for Country Kennels to make sure all other pets are put away prior to your visit. This keeps everyone safe. Tours disrupt current guests routines and can in some cases upset current guests, this is why tours are set at times when current guests are having quiet down time. For those guests who require medicine at certain times, this also allows for us to take great care of those animals with special dietary or medicinal needs. Tours are kept to only 20 minutes maximum to keep current guests comfortable. When dogs stay with us, they become relaxed and used to staff as their care takers, new unfamiliar people touring causes a disruption for them and because of that tour availability and length is limited to keep pets happy.

Are children okay to bring to tours?

No. Please do not bring children to tours.

Can I touch the current dogs staying at Country Kennels?

No. Please do not touch, put your fingers in the kennels, or talk to current pets staying.

Should I bring vaccination records to the tour?

Yes, to bring your dog/cat to tour and complete the intake assessment vaccination records are required. Bordatella, rabies and DHPP need to be up to date. Photocopies may be made in the Country Kennels office. You are also welcome to submit vaccination records via the following methods: email to booking@countrykennelsboarding.com, submit in the booking software/ app in the app store (search ‘country kennels pet boarding’)

We look forward to meeting you and your pet!
